When can I undergo Actemra injections?
Actemra 80 mg can only be prescribed by a licensed medical professional after consultation. It is used for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis under the condition that the patient has been previously treated with other medications without successful results. Actemra can also be administered when the disease has developed to Stage 3.
It is possible to use Actemra 80 mg in combination with methotrexate. It is possible to use Actemra 80 mg for the treatment of juvenile arthritis.
Contraindications
Prior to undergoing treatment with Actemra 80 mg it is important to check the body?s possible reactions to the drug. If any negative reaction occurs treatment is prohibited. If you experience dizziness, nausea, body aches and/or rashes consult your doctor immediately.
You cannot use Actemra 80 mg:
– if you have an acute infectious disease
– if you have thrombosis
– if you have neutropenia
– if you are pregnant or breastfeeding
